Which of those 3 players that you mentioned (Galchenyuk, Chychrun, Dvorak) do you consider the 2 core players that they have been without?

I think anyone with any sense at all could predict that the Yote's would have issues scoring goals this year. However their lack of any semblance of offensive production should be a major concern for the team going forward!

I mean to say three. When I was writing it I forgot about Dvorak, then on my second pass I guess I forgot to make that adjustment.

Injuries aside, everyone deals with them, most predicted exactly what you're seeing with the Coyotes. They're making you look very Tanner-like again James lol.

I don't think they have an even strength goal all season.

If that means don't read too much into recent results and instead look at the big picture and understand how the law of averages works, then yes, I am being very Tanner like. If you're not on a comment section on the internet this is generally considered the correct way to look at things.

Also, not for nothing, and not to excuse zero 5v5 goals, but Galchenyuk, Dvorak, Chychrun are half of their best players. That is a very unusual set of injuries that almost no team ever has to deal with at the same time. Sure, injuries happen, but that doesn't negate their impact.

Sorry buddy, it appears Jack Hughes is destined to go to Detroit. No one comes close to them as far as bad teams go.

Is Tocchett the right guy? The former grinder with a skill-based forward group? This is the second year they've come out of the gate like this and they have the talent. More and more shots just can't be the plan. It may be time to look at the guy in charge.
